| Many of the automobiles that are built in Japan, Germany, and several other countries are quite a bit smaller. Everything they drive is very small - but astonishingly they are not devoid of any of the necessary features and power that we love. Probably one of the greatest models of the types of automobiles that you can find out in these places is the notable Smart car. This outstandingly tiny car was constructed in 1993 by Daimler-Benz and the Swiss watchmaker - Swatch. Together the two companies started a joint venture known as the Micro Compact Car AG - which was placed in Switzerland. These cars were made with the engineering and quality we know of Mercedes - but with the different design from Swatch. Unite these two together and they produced what was plainly known as the Smart City-Coupe - which was produced for the European urban public. Not only were they created to provide for better parking - but also to amend gas mileage. In order to keep this different small car safe and sound they developed it with a “tridion” safety cell so that it could manage being stricken by bigger cars. The cell was created with three levels of reinforced steel and was able to absorb the affect during a crash and to protect the people within. It did not take long for individuals to be impressed with the Smart and soon it turned into a worldwide phenomenon. By 2003 more and more models of the smart were created and being sold in Europe and 36 other countries. You may even recieve an oppurtunity to look at a few driving in the United States. |
