| One of the biggest things that we have ever seen for the medical field are disabled lifts. These are unique contraptions that were contrived for individuals who are either incapable to utilize their legs in anyways or who have trouble walking or flexing their legs. Because of the medical condition they have it is difficult for them to get around on their own. But not everyone wants to have somebody helping them with everything. They feel the want to have some type of freedom and to be able to do things on their own. Disabled lifts grants them this power and at times it assists the primary care provider by making it easier for them. There are four main types of these lifts - which are usually utilized. They are bath lifts, pool lifts, wheelchair lifts, and stair lifts. All of these are used for something unique - but they all serve to give the person more freedom. Bath Lift The bath lift is water powered and employed to help a disabled individual to take a bath with little to no troubles. The chair will let down the individual in and out of the bath again with the easy press of a button. A seat belt is established into the chair for safety and comfort. Pool Lift Luxury is something that not everybody can experience - but it doesn’t mean they cannot try. These especially contrived lifts are also powered by water and designed much in the same way as bath lifts or wheelchair lifts. There are many contrasting forms - but each one aids to grant the individual fun in the sun during the summer. Wheelchair Lift These are very common types of lifts that numerous people will see when driving on the roads. These are set up on the back of a van or truck and have the power to transport an individual's wheelchair for long distances. Stair Lift This is one of the more ingenious kinds of disabled lifts. It is a chair that coasts along on a rail - which is installed on the side of the stairways. The person can ride it up and down the stairs to reach the contrasting levels in their house.
